Remember 'An Education'?

In February of last year, it was announced that Orlando Bloom was set to co-star in 'An Education'. Upon reading a brief plot of the film, I thought it would be a good job for him to take on. It was not clear which role he would take, but the timing of the project seemed good for him to work on, but a few weeks later, he quit the project.

Some fans were glad as they didn't like the 60's time frame of the film, they wanted him in a present-day film. Well, there is a LOT of Oscar buzz surrounding 'An Education' and I just can't help but wonder which direction Orlando's career might be going now had he stayed with this film. He could have been on this one-sheet for the movie. That's the dude that replaced him, Dominic Cooper.

Its Friday again (though I'm not quite sure why I'm that excited, I'm in work tomorrow too....:() but Orlando has come through with some nice shots of him and his bike in New York!

(Its the engine type of bike not the other kind of bike he runs round with ;P)

Oh! the stories they tell.....

Now I wouldn't usually give web space to something like this, But of all the press / PR stories that have come out about Orlando and his "girl"friend - I though this was very special indeed :)

It starts


"Orlando Bloom's girlfriend, Victoria Secret model Miranda Kerr, has reportedly refused to marry him for the second time.....".

Really? I thought she was the one fancying the babies and the back yard with the dog? I'm sure that's what came out last time!

It continues:

"It seems that Orlando has been spurned yet again by his long term girlfriend Miranda. The couple, who have been dating since 2007, appear to be in disagreement over the concept of marriage, with Kerr set against it claiming she is "too young". A source close to the pair revealed that Bloom looks to propose again this summer and that "if she says no, he's said it will be over."

Lets hope it's third time lucky for Orlando!

I don't know ANY guys of Orlando's age that are gagging to get married... maybe its just the company I keep?

It just sounds so unlikely, but then again, not being a guy, I may not be a position to fully appreciate Miranda's err charms! (mind you I wouldn't of thought Orlando would be that receptive to her charms either....)

Maybe Orlando really is hitting a mid life crisis (Though I thought guys tended to get fast cars and start dating teenagers when that happened, and that would make Orlando's version of a mid life crisis NOT to date teenagers, forget speed and settle down and get married?)


I guess time will tell, but I do hope Orlando wont be too dissapointed if he gets a third no ! :P

well, actually it isn't (it was on a peugeot driving round Camberwell in London.....) but the point is that it should be!! And if Orlando isn't keen on the type of car, well he can just have it moved over to his audi or whatever it is he is now driving...... actually, i wouldn't mind it as a number plate either - Orli better get in the queue!! :D

Orlivier!

After the shock waves post the news of MJ's demise, its been all quiet with Orlando..... until yesterday! These photos appeared of him hanging out with the lovely Olivier. I've always had a soft spot for him, ever since he was so brilliant with Kylie while she was dealing with cancer...... They both look extremely cute!

It must be cold in LA though - Orlando's wearing two leather jackets......he should get back to the UK, the entire of London is melting this week.....
